Kim Ye-rin, better known by her stage name Yeri was a South Korean pop princess. She is also a member of popular girl band Red Velvet. Born in Busan, South Korea, she grew up learning English at home, before moving to Los Angeles, where she pursued an acting career in shows such as Micky Geller: Every Night Yeri appeared on several television shows which earned her both critical acclaim and commercial success.

Known as “Korean Kim”, Yeri’s real name is Park Hye-rin. Yeri was not actually born in Busan but in Hawaii. Her real father is Chinese, while her mother is from Kuwait. She is of mixed race, having been raised entirely in South Korea. She has been described as looking very Chinese, with dark hair, even brown eyes.

Yeri is best known for two songs, which became very popular in the south Korean music scene, firstly with the group AKB Minori performing it at their song Festival Party in 2021. The second was gracing the score of the movie The Perfect Partner, with its own song, You Are In My Heart. To accompany this song, Yeri released a pop music video for the same title, which was hugely popular. She has since gone on to have several hit singles, including the smash hit Bring Me To Life, which came from her collaboration with Oh Sung-yeol. Nowadays, she has also established herself as a solo Korean singer, most notably with her songwriting and production work with various international artists, which you can hear on several well known music video projects.

The Rise Of Yeri As A Soloist Since Yeri has gone on to have several hit singles and has also won several awards, including the 2021 Songwriter’s Award for Best Female Vocalist at the prestigious Melfest Music Awards, you would think that her star status would have made her a rich lady. However, unlike other female singers, Yeri has not been able to become wealthy from singing. Her net worth only lives off the success of her music videos, and her reputation as a k-pop singer/actor.

The Background Of Yeri Although Park Myeong-ho is not entirely a stranger to the world of show business having previously appeared on the television singing variety show “MIYA”, he is still relatively unknown in the United States. This is unfortunate, as his acting abilities are widely recognized in South Korea, where he is recognized as one of the best ever. After leaving his television show, Yeri decided that he wanted to pursue a career in acting so as to be able to continue to support his family. One of the many shows that he auditioned for was the K-pop stage adaptation of Come On You Can’t Stop, and he had a bit part as Kim Tae Hee.

Yeri’s Choreography: While she was already popular as a singer/singer, Yeri decided that it was time to branch out into a more substantial acting career and signed onto H.I.T. (hostess, dancer, actress) as a new member of their popular music program, H EVERgreen. The show was a hit, and Yeri was soon cast in a number of popular dramas and movies, including the award-winning movie, The Blinds Girl. She went on to play the role of Yori in the musical drama Once, and also starred in the Kung Mangalakkak film genre. Since then, Yeri has gone on to voice several characters in films such as the fantasy thriller The Pirate’s Hat, the action series The Punisher, and the Moomin franchise. If she continues with these projects, then there is no doubt that we will soon see Yeri in all of her glory.
