Emily Osment was born in Watts, California. She is known for her work as both a performer and singer. Emily Osment was raised by her mother as though she was still a toddler. She started learning how to sing at the age of eight, and soon after got a job with the family company that developed the “Sims” game. Her early work included playing the role of a maid in one of the episodes, as well as playing the role of a schoolgirl in another episode. Emily Osment has gone on to star in a number of different television series throughout her career, some of which include “Raising Helen” for the Disney Channel, “Raising Helen” for the Disney Television Network, “The Perfect Score” for Showtime, “The Firm” for Hulu, and “The Good Wife” for CBS. Her most recent television role was on the fourth season of the hit show, “The Firm.” She plays Meg Farley, a character that was a main character in the first season of the show. Meg is a divorced mother of three children, who works as an actress in New York City. She eventually gets a chance to win custody of her son from ex-husband Sandy, but has to deal with the stress of being a celebrity as well as balancing being a working mom and going back to school to get a degree.

Emily Osment’s acting career didn’t really begin to take off until the second half of the 2021 year, when she appeared in the movies “Lone Gun Hunter” and “End of Watch.” Her appearance in those two movies earned her two awards from the Film Critics Association, making her one of just a few female actors in Hollywood to receive that kind of recognition. She followed up those successes with a supporting role in the critically acclaimed movie “When the Bewls Go Away,” as well as a recurring role on the hit television show “Heroes.” Other supporting roles in films include “The Perfect Score” for Showtime, “The Firm” for Hulu, and “The Man Who Played With Cancer” for ABC.

Emily Osment isn’t the only recent actresses to have garnered some great reviews for their acting prowess in the realm of television, either. Jessica Chastain is another recent high-rated star, playing a young and slightly neurotic FBI agent in the hit show “The Closer.” Jessica Chastain also had a successful turn as an actress before heading into the realm of acting, playing a similar but more ruthless character in the movie “The Firm.” Her role as a bad-girl spy thriller was featured in the 2021 Academy Awards. Joining Chastain in the acting fold is recently dropped by Avi Armani, who plays an Israeli Mossad agent working with Chastain’s character.
