Tatiana Maslany is an award-winning Canadian actor. She rose to popularity for playing multiple roles in the groundbreaking science fiction television show Orphan Black, which earned her two Primetime Emmys, a Golden Globe Award, a Satellite Award, and two Satellite Awards. She is most recognized for playing the role of Vasque, a Canadian wife and mother to a young girl who was left on a planet by her father as a baby and raised there by a kindly, but domineering robot. For three seasons on Orphan Black, Maslany played the character of Vasque. She currently plays the recurring role of Cosmo in the spinoff TV series, No Ordinary Family.
Tatiana Maslany was born in Canada. She is the youngest of three children and grew up in Toronto, attending Toronto Public Library. At age nine, she started taking acting lessons, later joining the cast of Viva Kids, playing different characters, including the evil Queen. From there, she went on to play the lead role in the movie Pretty Woman, opposite Reese Witherspoon, as well as the lead role in the short-lived spinoff of the British show, Viva Kids: The Mall. Later, she appeared in the award-winning film Edward Scissorhands, as well as the television movie Kung Fu Panda.
Maslany’s extensive resume, including multiple stints on Orphan Black and various television shows, has made her one of the most popular actors from Canada. As such, many are eager to discover her every bit. The first glimpse of Tatiana Maslany is in the Canadian science fiction series, Orphan Ship. She plays Cosmo, a woman who is a specialist on the ship’s communications department, and is the ship’s nurse.
Following the conclusion of the series, Maslany moved on to star in the popular English language soap opera, Rhapsody in England, opposite Helena Bonham Carter. While this show lasted eleven seasons, it is not her finest work, nor is it the kind of drama you will want to sit through if you only ever watch the series for the music and the acting. In Rhapsody in England, Maslany plays the role of regal, aristocratic Maria Pitcher, who is the mother of the stars, Cameron Briel. She was also featured in a spin-off of the same show, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, in which she played the duchess of Greville.

In an episode of the animated television show, Invictus, which was aired in 2002, Maslany portrayed the character of she-hulk. She did a fantastic job of bringing some much-needed action to an otherwise typical story and was nominated for an additional Emmy in that category. She plays the role of female warrior princess She-Hulk, who is the adoptive mother of Bruce Banner (formed from the remains of Gamma orb). She has a son with Banner, named Bruce, who happens to have the ability to turn into a Hulk. The love between She-Hulk and Bruce Banner forms the basis for the story of the movie X-Men: The House of Mice, as well as the second movie of the series, X-Men: The Last Stand.
However, it should be noted that both of these roles were played by different actresses, with the first one being Tatiana Maslany. The award-winning British actress has set the standard in which every female actor is judged according to how good they look, as opposed to how well they can carry a scene. And in the world of theatre, where a role can mean the difference between being recognised and being forgotten, she-hulk stands above the rest. She has also won three Emmys for her work in the television show – her first of which was for the show Doctor Who. Both of these shows have established her as one of the best known and best loved British actors of all time.
