The soap opera Shades of Blue features actress Rochelle Aytes as the main role. She appears in four episodes of the show and reprises her role in the next two episodes. She eventually becomes Rosewood’s love interest, though he is just barely interested in her at first. He shows enough interest to have her pose for a number of photo shoots with famous faces from Hollywood, such as James Bond and Paris Hilton, but in the end he ends up falling in love with her despite her initial misgivings about the relationship.
Aytes only has one other role in her filmography aside from the lead role in Shades of Blue, and that is the romantic comedy The Hard Way. It was more successful than most of Aytes’ previous movies, and it starred her best-known co-stars, like Ashlee Simpson and Jason Lee. The movie itself was a success, even though its storyline was mediocre at best. One reason for its success is the chemistry between Aytes and her co-stars, which elevated this comedy to another level in terms of its quality and quantity of laughs per episode.
