The character of Yul was actually created because there was no woman from that era of the Ottoman Empire who was able to leave her homeland to escape the fighting. This role later appeared in the film, Arsen Navabi. Lilit Hovhannisyan is also known for her work on the television series, Dvorys, and the movie, Rustik Arsenios. As a result of these roles, she has established a great reputation as an actress and singer in her native Armenia.
