She has also made several television shows, some of which you may have seen including Seinfeld, 24, Frasier, The X-Files among others. Emily Deschanel was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She had been studying violin and piano at age 14 in France when she began to become interested in acting. She appeared in plays and student movies for ages before her career started. At the age of twenty-three she was cast in the film adaptation of the Thomas Harris novels. This role saw her travel across the globe as an actress in films such as Vegas Vacation, Get Him Before You Drop and Now You Can Kiss the Girl.
