Kelsea Ballerini

Kelsea Ballerini is a name that most women can’t miss hearing. The teenage phenom made headlines when she was discovered by the world-famous photographer Terry Richardson, who used her to profile many young stars. Now, Kelsea Ballerini is back with her third full-length album, titled Smile.

Before we discuss what Kelsea Ballerini has to offer as a singer and songwriter, let’s take a closer look at her background. Born and raised in Tennessee, Ballerina was known for her hardiness as both a child and an adult. She earned a degree in art in college and worked as a receptionist and retail assistant before going on to pursue a recording degree. A stay at home mom later on prompted her to get back into the music business, and “Smile” was born. Kelsea Ballerini was soon making the rounds of country radio, and “Like You Mean It” made its first appearance on the A Country Songbook album. Following its nationwide success, she signed with Atlantic and released two more Smile singles, “Touch Me There” and “Your Secret Life” before the end of 2021.

While her career has moved quickly, she has also found time to create several memoirs about her early days in Nashville, including one that she co-authored with her husband, Collin Kelley. The book, titled A Country Song, was released in March. According to the publishing company, Kelsea Ballerini has been doing book tours as a country-music and motivational speaker, and she hopes that” Jingles” will help people “recognize the importance of feeling connected to their connection to who they are, where they are going, and how they fit into the bigger picture.” As a country singer and songwriter, the publishing company reports that Ballerina has helped numerous individuals “with their own sense of direction and personal growth.” Kelsea Ballerini is currently the Senior Vice President and Manager of Product Management for Island Music, a Nashville-based recording studio.

Kelsea Ballerini is currently signed to Island Records, a division of Xplosive Entertainment. She is scheduled to perform at the 2021 Country Music Awards, although no tickets have yet been sold. She has also released a number of self-recorded albums, including one entitled Beautiful Loser. She is not the only country singer with this name, as singer-songwriter Nancy Coshme recently released a self-titled album. Coshme’s self-titled album was previously produced by Rascal Hymes. In addition to her country music career, Ballerina has also released music instructional CDs about songwriting, her life as a singer/songwriter, and about life in general.

Kelsea Ballerini has made four music albums for Capitol Records, which is the highest grossing album for a female country artist in history. Her first three singles “Always”, “Take Me Home” and “What Now” reached number one on the Hot Country Songs chart. Her second single “Always” was also a top seller, as was her third single “Wake Up Call.” The album topped the charts again and spent thirty-six weeks at number one on the charts. While these records did not break into the Top Three on the Pop Songs chart, it marked the first time a female country artist had reached number one.

In spite of her stellar music career, Kelsea Ballerini is relatively unknown outside of the world of professional singing competition. As a songwriter, she has achieved some mainstream success, but because of her unique sound and unique style as a singer/songwriter/performer, she continues to garner attention from the music industry and the public. She has been nominated for several music awards, including a record seven Golden Globe Awards and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Music, Original Music and DVD Performance. Her accolades continue to increase with each year that she makes an appearance at one of the many sold out shows that are produced yearly. If you want to see what all the buzz is talking about, be sure to go to a Kelsea Ballerini show sometime soon.
