DJ Khaled is a prolific hip-hop recording artist, multi-media personality, and singer/songwriter. Born in Kuwait, DJ Khaled was raised in America. It was there that he also developed a love for music and learning how to DJ from his friends. He honed his skills in the studio, while also taking lessons in poetry and music from college. It wasn’t until he went to college that he really began to put things together in a sound system and then a set of headphones.

The platinum-selling album of his career, Walls is a must hear for any DJ’s collection. The track title refers to the graffiti on the side of a billboard located in Manhattan. The graffiti was done by an unknown artist who was famous at that point in time. The major key to DJ Khaled’s achievement was the collaboration of the artist, his manager, and the artist himself. The three of them came up with the idea to put a name on the billboard and Khaled got paid for it as well as making a bunch of dollars for putting the song on his album.
