Lisa Kudrow was born and raised in Southern California. She has portrayed a number of popular characters in Hollywood, most notably in the movie versions of Bridget Jones Diary and The Perfect Score. Kudrow is best known for her role as Rachel on the TV series Friends. She also enjoyed some success in the film industry, developing two films that were scorned by critics upon their release, but which nonetheless saw release. Both of those movies helped launch Kudrow into Hollywood, where she would play a variety of characters in both films and later in stand-up comedy.
After enjoying a successful comedy career, Kudrow pursued a role in a biopic about the real-life romance between Rod Serling and Lisa Kramer, titled Everybody’s Fine. Though the movie didn’t achieve near cult status, it did introduce Kudrow to the world, and she is just now returning to the stage for the second half of the 2021 fall season.
