Jaime King is an American screenwriter and actress. She is best known for her role as the daughter in the television show Lost. Her other credits include playing the evil Queen in the movie Snow White (in the later seasons), and the main character in the television series Revolution. She has also played the wife and friend of Benjamin Linus in the television series Outcast, and the leader of the group of survivors in the novel Red.
In the television series Lost, King appeared as the daughter of the late King George. In the books and film, she portrayed the sister of Linus. Her other television appearances included appearances on Smallville, Stargate: SG1, and Lost. From the novels, she mostly appeared in the spin-off novels Lost Book, and Rise, and in the novel Nation.
In the television series Lost, King appeared in five episodes, as the wife of Linus. She also had a small role as the mother in the spin-off book, Lost Girl. She also appeared in the films’ X-Men: First Class, and The Incredible Hulk. In the film festival, King played the same role as Kate Sayres in the sci-fi film adaptation of the novels.
In the music video for the song “Take Me Away” from the band Panic! This is the only appearance of King in this video. She did, however, appear in the video for the song “Don’t Take Me Alive” from the band Weezer. Other than those two videos, King has not appeared in a major television series or a music video since the turn of the millennium. This is in spite of the fact that she is talented, if not quite the artiste as Jagaonee. Why has she not been able to capitalize on her talent?
Well, perhaps her ability to be alone for long periods of time is one reason why she has not been able to be a lead character in a television series or a movie. In the novel, A Princess of Mars, King mentions that she is Bionic Woman, a cyborg who is more than a century old, and yet is still capable of traveling to other planets on her own. This seems to indicate that she has not been to Nebraska, where she would likely have been considered a national hero due to her role as the grandmother on TV’s “The Bold and the Beautiful.” This would make her very young and would also indicate that she is a very different person than Jagaonee.
Despite her many talents, perhaps the most significant attribute of Jaime King is her beauty, or rather her looks. If you look at any picture featuring King, you will note that she has a stunning face, and that her hair is typically brown, with a fringe. This is common for almost every member of the cast of “Deadwood” or “The Sopranos,” where they are often depicted as extremely attractive individuals who display a sophisticated beauty. Playing such an attractive, mature-woman is almost impossible for an actor to do in today’s productions, especially when most roles require you to be handsome. In other words, it would not be surprising if audiences were enjoying “Dice” much more than “The Bold and the Beautiful” based upon these factors.
