Chelsea Kane is a talented young singer and actress. Born in Southern California, she was named Chelsea Rose after the singer Chelseaise. Her parents were divorced when she was very young, and she spent many years growing up in foster homes and orphanages. She met her future husband, Brad Pitt, while she was in high school and they are now married. She has always remained open about her past, even engaging with the press to discuss her musical side as a child, as well as her acting skills.
Chelsea has had a string of mini-career breakouts, first starring in four episodes of the hit Bratz on MTV, which made her one of the most popular young stars in the world. Her appearance as the popular “Minutemen” girl received her a Teen Choice award for Favorite Teenage Love Character. Later, she went on to play the lead role in the critically acclaimed “Raising Helen” for Focus Features, and the second episode of the second season of The New Girl. Her appearance as Chelsa in the minutemen show earned her another Teen Choice award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical, although this time for the show revival of Bratz.
After that, she went to play the lead role in the very successful “Raising Helen” for HBO. For the second season of the original series, she returned as Chelsa and appeared in a few more episodes. For the end of the series, she played the main role in a spin-off called “Raising Helen”, which featured Trace Ayala, in addition to Chelsea Kane. This series went on to become one of the most successful spin-offs in television, with the second season earning rave reviews from critics and fans everywhere. For her part, Chelsea Kane was nominated for an Academy Award for her work in both the first and second seasons of the original series.
After the end of the original Raising Helen, Chelsea Kane went on to play the lead role in the prequels to the ‘True Blood’ TV show, for which she received an additionalredited role in the second episode. She also went on to play the lead role in the second installment of the’Percy Jackson’ movies, and in a spin-off of the ‘True Blood’ TV show, called ‘Shirow’, for which she again received an additionalredited role. In addition to these projects, she also appeared in a number of independent films and TV dramas, including such notable and beloved movies as ‘Love Actually’ and ‘Election’. It should be noted that while all of these projects were incredibly successful and critically acclaimed, the only movie that did not receive a nomination for an Academy Award (for Best Picture) was in the film “Singles”.
After the cancellation of ‘True Blood’, Chelsea Kane began a two-year stint as a full-time actress on the short-lived television show ‘Heroes’. After the show ended, she decided to concentrate her efforts on performing in smaller, more personal roles, before finally committing to a major role in an episode of the third season of ‘The Mentalist’. After the completion of her final episode of ‘The Mentalist’, she started working on the movie version of ‘The Blind Side’, before finally committing to a major role in the final episode of the third season of ‘The Shield’. This is where she would make her biggest and most successful contribution to the genre. Although the show ended after its third season, it was quickly renewed for a fourth season, and Chelsea is currently in pre-production on the fourth season of ‘The Shield’, along with a spin-off featuring The OC’s Danny Cook.
One other interesting note about Chelsea Kane is that she was actually cast as a love interest for one of the characters from the original series, which would eventually become the father of one of her children. Initially, this didn’t go over well with the powers-that-be at ABC, but they eventually decided to go ahead with the pairing. In the episode that was filmed, it was revealed that Chelsea had been set up as a potential love interest for a character who was shown to be a father figure to Noah Campbell (the star of the original series), and this idea was eventually used for the birth of the character of Alex Cross. It is also possible that she may have been cast as a love interest for another character from the original series, but we’ll have to wait and see. Regardless, her involvement in the current incarnation of ‘The Mentalist’ is a valuable one, and fans will no doubt be happy to see her back in a leading role.
