Christina Milian
Christina Milian is an American singer, actress and songwriter known simply as Christina. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, she was brought up in Maryland. She signed a deal with Murder Inc. Records in the mid-1990s, at the age of nineteen. Her first album was titled Baby Did a Bad Thing, followed by the Number 1 hit Welcome To My World. The following two singles “Haitian Divorce” and “I’m Going to Show You” reached the top ten on the U.S. chart.
In 2021, Christina Milian appeared alongside Rob Reiner in the biographical movie, Playing in the mirrors. In this film, they discussed their break-up, which was expected to be a result of their respective relationships. As a result of their relationship, they did not renew their contract. However, Christina Milian made a personal visit to Rob Reiner in New Jersey to wish him well. Later that year, they confirmed their long-awaited reunion, which took place in California.
In June of 2021, Christina Milian released her second single from her recording career, titled No Teem. It was quickly certified platinum in just a few weeks. Christina’s top five hit New Jersey Shore music single, Everyone (Go to High School), was also a top five single. She also returned to the New Jersey shore for the final time with a duet with Aaliyah, on the song Home.
In late 2021, Christina Milian began working on a third album, entitled Just Friends. It was recorded by M.A.S.H. and released in early 2021. This time around, Christina wasn’t working with M.A.S.H., but with her friend and former band member, J.R. Rooter. They collaborated on writing songs and spent time doing sound checks and recording at several recording studios. The album did not receive a conventional release by any of Christina’s label representatives.
In July, Christina Milian released the fourth single from her album, titled Black Love. It debuted at Number Four on the billboard Hot 100 chart, and spent two weeks at Number Three. The single featured Christina’s longtime friend, J.R. Rooter, along with new music talents Ashanti and Akon.
A month after the release of Black Love, Christina Milian appeared on an episode of “American Idol” dressed as Pitbull. She performed a rendition of her original hit “Whoppers,” and was instantly loved by the audience and the judges. Her appearance on the show marked the first time that she had portrayed a character from a Christian perspective, which has allowed her to gain both fan popularity and critical acclaim. As the “lezars” star continues to develop her acting skills, her work ethic will continue to attract both critical acclaim and mainstream success.
