Rachael Leigh Cook was born in Beverly Hills, California, to parents who were teachers. She began her career as a dancer and then worked as a call girl. Together, the two begin to search the country for possible foster parents for their son, whom they plan to adopt after he is taken away by Child Protective Services for running an unlicensed babysitting business.
Rachael Leigh Cook made her feature debut in the television drama called Married with Benefits, which was a spinoff of the popular show Sex and the City. In this film, the character was played by Laura Linney, who was better known for playing the role of Meg Ryan’s character in the later seasons of the series. Laura Linney also had a small role in the movie About Robin, which was directed by David Fincher.
Aside from being a television actress, Rachael Leigh Cook has also done several voice-overs and portrayed characters in video games, television shows, and movies.
