Mary- Kate Olsen is a Scottish actress and fashion designer. Mary- Kate was named one of “The Best Female Fashion Designers in America” by US Department of Defense. Mary- Kate was also named one of “The 50 Most influential Women in Fashion” by US Department of Education. She has been married to Michael Lado during which they have two children.
Mary- Kate worked hard to develop her modeling career and became known in the fashion industry after appearing in some British television shows. Her first solo acting appearance was in the British soap opera Deal or No Deal (2000), playing the factory girl. Mary- Kate had gained attention in the British scene due to her sultry hairstyle, attractive face and smart wit. She appeared in a few movies later and has gone on to star in several more movies. Her most popular role was the role as a factory girl in American independent film The Artist (2000).
Mary- Kate has not confined her acting talents only to stage appearances. She has also made two music albums as well as four movies for which she received critical acclaim. Mary- Kate was married to musician, Michael Lado, from 1996 until 2005. After the split, she pursued an acting career but was unable to break into the big leagues. She has been married to musician, Frank Ocean, since 2005 and their marriage has been very public.
