Mary Elle Fanning is a famous American actress. She is the younger sister of star actress Dakota Fanning. She made her first film appearance as the younger twin of actress Dakota Fanning in the movie I Am Sam. As an adult, she went on to appear in several other films, such as Phoebe in Wonderland, abel in A Time Keeps Away, and Before Your Very Eyes.
Elle Fanning was born in 1969 in Manhattan Beach, California. She is the eldest of three children of Ellen Conners. Elle grew up in Manhattan Beach, going to private school until she was nine years old. She then went to college to study art, but did not concentrate on it due to her desire to focus on acting.
After graduating, Elle Fanning went on to work in print shops in San Diego, California, and Brisbane, Queensland. After some time working in television, she decided to try her hand at Hollywood writing. In the late 1990s, Elle Fanning finally became known in the United States as an actress. She has had some popular roles, such as in the TV show 24, where she played the role of young FBI agent Dana Scully. This role earned Elle Fanning the role of the first modern woman spy, working for the CIA. Then she went on to play an evil witch in the fantasy film Maleficent. This film marked the second win for Elle Fanning, following her win for the same award for the same role in Sometimes. This film was actually meant to be a spin-off of the very successful X-Files’ movie series, with Fanning playing FBI agent Dana Scully. For whatever reason, those plans were abandoned and the project was instead moved forward with the hope of her receiving an Oscar nomination for her role.
Elle Fanning has certainly had a stellar acting career. She is just getting started, but it looks as though her starry resume will continue to grow for many more years to come.
