Melissa McCarthy is an American stand-up comedy artist, screenwriter, producer, singer and actress. She is perhaps best known for her appearances on television shows, such as Saturday Night Live, The Office, and Bill and Ted. She has also had a number of smaller roles in movies, including Baby Did a Bad Thing and Steel Magnolias. She has been nominated for multiple awards for her work on stage and screen.
