Gianluca Ginoble Net Worth, Height, Weight, Wiki, Family, Contact, Biography

Gianluca Ginoble is one of the most popular and influential tenors of all time. Born in Sicily, Italy, Ginoble grew up singing in a wood church choir. He went on to study opera and violin, but in 1970 he decided to take up vocal practice on his own. Since that time, he has recorded twenty-six studio albums and fourteen concert albums.

Gianluca Ginoble was born to an Italian family that hails from the city of Florence. He grew up in a house with two other children who were also born and raised in Florence. It was here in this area that he would discover the three elements of music that would later define him: the soprano voice and alto flute. Later, he would become known as a tenor, and has held this rank throughout his career.

In 2021, Gianluca Ginoble released his third album of original songs and recordings, titled Sicilian Rose. Unlike some of his previous efforts, this album contains no instruments other than the guitar. This choice represented a challenge to him, as he had previously written and recorded without any use of instrumentals. However, he found difficulty in playing the guitar because he was not familiar with the music styles represented in Italian music. To remedy this problem, he decided to hire an Italian guitar player, called Guido Bertani, to play on Sicilian Rose.

On the surface, the first section of Sicilian Rose contains ten original compositions arranged in four parts. The title of these pieces, ti lascio una canzone, literally means “teardrop”. As can be imagined, these tunes take place in settings ranging from rural countryside to modern cities. What is impressive about the quality of music that appears in the album is that the songs are often arranged for string orchestra or choral ensemble.

The opening piece, tu prattuccino, is performed in g minor. The second piece, the coquette, is performed in a flat major, while the last, adagio, is performed in a major. The entire piece, ti lascio una canzone, is dedicated to one singer. A duet with Joanna Gilardi and Gianluca Ginoble is included on the album, as is the duet called Viaggio un tempo, which was previously performed between Gianluca Ginoble and Luciano Bellini. There also seems to be a recording of the entire opera, which was made by Gianluca Ginoble himself.

It is therefore safe to say that the most popular songs heard in Gianluca Ginoble’s pop opera trilogy are: La grosse tutte, L’altraire d’avola, La bussera de la storia del Mani, La stanza e non troseco and La poppetta scena. With the exception of the last piece, which is dedicated to Joanna Gilardi, all other songs were previously performed by the group Sanremo in their early years. The music of the opera is outstanding and if you have never heard the original version, you should definitely do so. Given the high quality of the sound produced by this recording, the singers of Sanremo will truly be able to bring the delight and passion of old Italy to life on the stage.
