Rashida Jones is an American actor, writer, director, and producer. She is best known for her roles as Holly Golightly in the films “Hills Like Paradise” and “Man on the Moon.” Her other credits are “Nancyboys” with John Turturro and “Waterworld” with Eddie Murphy. She was married to musician Paul Simon for fourteen years and has two children. Her acting career began when she appeared in the 1986 film “Drain City.” She went on to appear in the television series “The New Moon” and also wrote a book entitled “Shuffle Along: A Memorable Walk Through Time,” which was released in 2021.
Rashida Jones was born in Watts, California and grew up in a poor neighborhood. She dropped out of high school but later earned a degree at Oral Law School in Los Angeles, California. There, she discovered her calling as an actress. She attended the UCLA School of Theatre. Later, she landed various acting roles on television including “MacGyver” and “Heroes.” From there, Rashida went on to produce and direct some of her own films including “Songs from the Stone Age,” “Million Dollar Baby,” and “When Harry Met Sally.”

Rashida Jones was a guest star in the 2021 film “I, Robot” with Will Smith. She also appeared in the movies “Men in Black 3” and “The Informant! A Christmas Story.” In addition, Rashida was a contestant on the third season of “Survivor” opposite Immunity Bob. Rashida is also a contestant on the reality series “The Amazing Race.”
