Patricia Heaton is an American stand up comedy actress and writer. She is best known for her starring role as Debra Barone on the popular CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond. From2019-2019, she appeared as Frances “Franksy” Heck on the ABC drama The Middle.
From 1997-2002, Patricia Heaton was known as Frankie Heaton on the popular NBC sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond. On the character, she had a revolving role and was not given a defined personality as she was a supporting player. However, she was given an arc of different characters that centered on a relationship with Peter Barone. Throughout the seasons, she developed a character trait of being a mystical and off-broadway drama teacher. She was one of the founding members of the improvisational comedy troupe, The Second City group.
After leaving The Second City, Patricia Heaton moved to Los Angeles and joined the cast of the hugely popular television show Everybody Loves Raymond. After the show ended, she appeared in a number of films, including Stuck With The Devil (as a love interest for Danny Zuko), Gidget (as Gidget Connehan), Everybody Hates Hugo (as Selina Kyle) and Morena Baccarat (as Nelly Furtado). She also appeared in a number of different television shows, most notably Seinfeld and Everybody Loves Raymond. She has also had a recurring role on the series Everybody Loves Money.
In 2002, Patricia Heaton made a brief return to the small screen, playing an integral character in the critically acclaimed, Will Ferrell comedy Everyone Love Money. Despite her limited screen time, she was able to bring some life to the role of Lee Baron, played by Steve Martin. After leaving the show, she went on to star in the feature film The Perfect Storm, which was produced by both The Second City and Disney. She also had a small role in the Terry Gilliam film Brazil. As well as these roles, Patricia Heaton has also appeared in several video games and has guested in several stand-up specials. At the present time, she is currently starring in the TV series Everybody Loves Somebody, playing the role of Serenaud Cowles.

Patricia Heaton grew up in Southern California and attended the Culinary Institute of America. She studied cooking under Certified chefs Rene Lacasse and Mark displast. After graduating, she worked first as a pastry chef in Beverly Hills, California, then as a waitress and dishwasher at several other restaurants. While attending the University of San Francisco, Patricia decided to major in Broadcast Technology. After graduating, she continued her education by getting a degree in Broadcast Technology at Pacific University. After working for KFC and McDonald’s, Patricia decided to pursue a career in acting, and in 1992, she started working on the TV sitcom Good Ole’ Boys, playing the role of Miss “Paparazzi”
