Kaash Paige is a versatile performer whose music has been compared to soul, reggae, hip-hop, jazz, and more. He grew up in the Washington, DC suburbs where he enjoyed learning to play his instruments from a young age. He gained attention after performing elements such as the Jelly Roll Morton Ballroom. In addition to his musical education, Kaash was also interested in pursuing a college degree. He went to the University of Alabama where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism.
During his time in college, Kaash was also interested in playing the drums. While in school he met up with musician Jasmine Greene, who introduced him to the world of music. They began jamming and eventually became good friends. After high school, Kaash moved back to Washington, D.C. where he continued to play music and meet more musicians. He decided to try and get a record deal while still in college, but he didn’t have any success until he was 25 years old when he was discovered by R&B artist Will Smith.
From there he was exposed to the world of rap music. He made several verses for songs by artists such as Lil Wayne, 50 cent, J. Money, J.Lo, and many others. Recently Kaash Paige was featured in an ad for the new movie Straight Outta Compton, where he was compared to Dre.

At this point in his career, Kaash has released four albums. All Of The Lights, Thank God I’m a Country Boy, I’m Dreaming Of A Simple Life, We Real Cool, and finally I’m Ready To Run, which is due out soon. All Of The Lights has been received well and has proven to be a very popular album and is one of the more laid back albums of his. The singles are “Fiesta”, “Come On” which is an homage to people that he feels are misunderstood in the United States, “Elvira”, “Love Song” which is a great song about infidelity, and “Wake Up” which is a song about waking up America and making it realize that they need one another.
Kaash also has four singles that will be out in the next year. The first single, titled “Love Songs”, is due out in the spring. The second single, titled “downed”, is due out in the summer. The third single, titled “Elvira”, is due out in the fall. Finally, the fourth single, titled “White Noise”, is due out in the end of the year or sometime in the beginning of the year.
This is a nice little song from Kaash and he sings about how he likes to go to his cousin’s house all the time and play video games. It is interesting to hear him sing about being a video game junkie as he was born on January 8, which is also his birthday. Kaash was also born in Dallas, Texas and grew up in Forth Worth. He attended De La Salle High School and his musical tastes have led him to be interested in guitar, keyboards, and drums. He has had some other singing opportunities including a minor record deal with Big Youth, but has never made a major label deal. If you have not heard of Kaash Paige, now is definitely the time to do so because this guy is talented and has the voice of a true artist.
