JoJo Siwa grew up in Southern California. She was named after her grandmother, who was one of the original inhabitants of La Jolla. JoJo attended Pacific University and studied drama before moving on to modeling. She has also appeared in commercials and music videos. JoJo’s full name is JoJoanna Joyne Siwa. She is the daughter of a Filipino mother and an American father. JoJo grew up in Encinitas, California. In her early years of childhood she was called Jessica in elementary school because she was so popular in school. She was also the oldest child in the family, which made it easy for JoJo to become depressed when her momma would leave the house for work which left JoJo as the sole caretaker of the entire family. She was also one of few children who was allowed to watch her mommy’s birth movie.

In the early 1990s JoJo found success in the reality television show Dance Moms where she became famous for being the best ballerina in the show. After that she had a successful second season on the show Married with Children. She was also on an American version of The Price is Right. From there her career as a dance instructor and performer began. In order to support her family JoJo decided to take a year off from dancing in order to focus on her acting career.

JoJo was on her way to becoming famous when she decided to try out for the show Maksim Chmerkovskiy. She got the part of Dule Hillis in the first episode of the fifth season of Dance Moms. She was able to perform quite well on the show and her fans loved her in the show. JoJo then appeared in the sixth season of Dance Moms where her dance skills were focused more on her acting.

After Dance Moms ended, JoJo had some time off and went back to doing what she does best. She appeared in the next reality show, I’m Pregnant, in which she gave birth to a premature baby. Her fan base grew again after that and she appeared in the following episodes of I’m Pregnant 2, I’m Pregnant With…, and I’m Pregnant With… Lastly, in the seventh season of Dancing With The Stars, JoJo was seen on the stage with Alyssa Milano. Her guest appearance made her famous once again. As her career began to peak, her star has continued to rise. In the future it is expected that JoJo will be seen in many more reality shows and movies.
