The real name of Andrew Hozier is Andrew Hozier. He is a singer and songwriter who are most famous for his duet with fellow Irish songwriter, Donaghy MacLennan, called Church on the Corner. In his song Church on the Corner, Hozier expresses his feelings of love and faith for his Irish heritage. His musical side can be heard in the tracks “Hozies” and “I’m Hung in Love.”

Andrew Hozier is from Oak Harbor, Washington. He was born in Ireland and grew up in Ashville, Oregon. Growing up in Ashville, Oregon, he developed a musical talent that led him to focus his attention on writing songs. Hozier became very well known as a member of the band, Ashville Soul, which had several hits and went on to become one of the best selling musical acts of all time. When the group split up in 1996, Hozier began to develop a career in the music industry as a musician. In particular, he spent some time with founding member, Cream, who gave him the chance to perform on tour with them.

As a member of Ashville Soul, Hozier would go on to record demos of original songs he was working on. Some of these demos were eventually put on albums with the band camp label. One of the songs on this label was “You Are the Wilderness,” which was later covered by Nirvana. With his successful career in the music industry, Hozier decided to pursue a career in writing songs, and in 2021, he was signed to the imprint Cello Mobile.\

Hozier soon found success with his singles “I’m Hung in Love,” “Come As You Are,” and “Wake Me Up When You Are Gone.” The singles from both Cello Mobile and Ink featured vocals from Hozier himself. His second album, Irena, was not as well received by critics but was more successful in terms of sales and chart placement. Hozier then released Reelin’ in the E Street, another collaboration with longtime friend and former bandmate, Pixie. Reelin’ in the E Street lasted for two weeks at number two on the charts, which marked a major breakthrough for Hozier and his bandmates.

Hozier has since recorded over twenty-five studio albums and several self-made singles, as well as one duet with former Cello Mobile member, Pixie. Although Hozier is mostly known as a pop songwriter, he is also skilled in other genres, including jazz, folk, soul, and alternative. Hozier has written and produced music for everyone from Elton John to Will Smith.

Hozier will most likely receive many awards for the remainder of his career, including Grammys, and numerous industry awards. However, the single most important award for Hozier will always be his fans. His devotion to them is inspiring. He will continue to tour the country until he dies, and will continue to make music that his fans will enjoy for years to come.
