FKA Twigs is also known professionally by many names, depending on where you go. FKA Twigs is commonly known as Frika Tindle, F Kraken, Fikaner, Firdannie, Farknee, Farkkin, or Frekka. However, by most people, FKA Twigs is Frika Tindle, the original female vocalist and multi-instrumental artist who have made a name for herself in the world of music. Born in 1978, Fikaner first made a name for herself as the lead singer and principal songwriter of the band Gorrilaz.
Frika Tindle left the band when their contract expired. She then formed and played various instruments and sang lead in several other groups. However, she only released one album in the late nineties titled Gorillaize. FKA Twigs self-released their debut album called Twigs in August 2021. This was their first full length album and the band is currently touring in support of their new album. Due to the overwhelming positive response from fans, FKA Twigs has decided to take their music to the next level and have already started the writing and rehearsing for their sophomore album.

There are a few projects which FUKKATA Twigs is currently working on which include the creation of an EP, a memento album, and the writing and producing of a documentary film. The self-release of Twigs in August provided the band with an opportunity to work with some legendary musicians who were willing to contribute to the songwriting process. Among those famous musicians who contributed to the songs and writing process were Suzi Quatro and David Bowie. Suzi Quatro is a Scottish folk artist who has been performing with Suzi Quatro & David Bowie since the early seventies. David Bowie is well known as a musician who has created numerous hits throughout his career that has made him a superstar in both Europe and the United Kingdom.
F Kazakhstani actress Emini Armani has also signed with FUKKATA in order to star in their second film titled, Fika, which is expected to be released in fall of this year. The movie is a continuation of the first Fika where Emini starred alongside Mike Myers as the lead character. The role of Fika was played by Myers, who had previously appeared in the horror film The Shape. Fika is expected to be released in summer of this year. Emini Armani is currently on tour in Asia.
It was also announced that FUKKATA will be releasing a limited number of double vinyl packages with each package containing a unique FUKKATA figurine. The first package in this series was sold out very quickly due to the overwhelming response from fans of the first film. The second package will feature the band’s first four singles from the band’s history. There will also be a special deluxe double vinyl package that includes the music from the band’s first two albums. These packages will only be available at the FUKKATA patron site.
