Vanessa Paradis is an American actress, model, and singer. She is best known for her roles in the movies “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”, “A Fish called Wanda”, “My Left Behind” and “Irene”. Paradis also became a well-known child actress at the young age of fourteen with the huge success of her first single “Joe Le Taxi”. From then on, she was a popular spokesmodel for Chanel. She went on to have various hits in the late eighties and early nineties.
Vanessa Paradis had a very close relationship with her famous French singer and song writer, composers, and producers Renaud and Gautier. They were one of the most famous creative couples in the music industry. Renaud and Gautier are the co-writers and producers behind some of today’s most popular music. The two had worked together since 1984 and became close friends. After their relationship became public, they never stopped working together.
At one time, Vanessa Paradis was getting phone calls from various record labels that wanted her to make a demo CD. She declined each time politely but eventually, she was contacted by her friend, singer and sometime record producer, Vanessa Chantal. Chantal introduced her to Renaud and Gautier. They liked Vanessa’s demos and asked her to go to L.A. to meet them there.
Shortly after arriving in Los Angeles, Vanessa and Renaud got to know each other better. Eventually, they decided to form a band. The name of the band was named “La Magie des surprises-parties.” The first album they made was called “Eden.” This is the album where Vanessa was shot by jean-paul goude.
The band became very popular in the country circuit during the late sixties and early seventies. Renaud and Gautier both sang lead roles and also composed an original song. In the song, “My Love,” they both sang about their love for each other. Renaud, who was also a well-known French singer and actor, decided to try acting in movies. He appeared in “Le Samourailles” and “The Mysterious Maiden.” Gautier also appeared in a string of movies, including “Unlocking Files.”
At the time of her death, Vanessa had made several DVD’s and several music albums. A year before her death, she released a book that contained stories and poems about her life. She was also an active member of the Save the Children International charity organization. Vanessa Paradis was a great and kind singer, actress, and mother who enjoyed sharing her love songs with everyone she met.
