Bree Turner was born and raised in Ohio, where her family owned a lemonade stand. She began to take notice of the theater scene in New York City when she was just a young woman. At sixteen she was a finalist in the Miss Teen Competition which launched her career as an actress. Turner went on to play different parts in several plays and movies including ‘Guess Who’s There’ and ‘The Perfect Score’. After that she appeared in several TV shows including ‘Raising Helen’ and ‘The Perfect Score’ which led to her becoming one of the most successful actresses in Hollywood.
Bree Turner is currently an American actor and dancer; she’s best known for playing Rosalee Calvert in Grimm. For her appearance in the musical, it marked the first of four Academy Awards for Best Actor in a Leading Role. In the musical, Turner played the role of a sultry singer and dancer who falls in love with a poor man who is in jail. In the movie, she plays a vampire who attacks beautiful women; however, it is implied throughout the story that she may be just a bit bi-sexual. In addition to these roles, Bree has also been in a few movies that were made for adult viewers such as ‘Possession’ and ‘American Beauty’.
Another actor of note in the acting field in the United States is Hulu’s breakout star, actress Sunny Pawlet, who has been nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for her work in the drama series, Offered. Another actress of note, Jessica Simpson, was recently seen on the reality show, The Apprentice, which was an executive produced by The Wolfpack. She served as a cast member on the first season of the show. It was not long after the show became popular that she decided to pursue a career in acting.

One other actress of note is Jessica Hezel who has been seen on several different soap operas including: Everybody Loves Raymond, Mom, and Spin City cold case. It was during the second season of Spin City cold case that Jessica became well known when the show was canceled. She went on to have a stint on The Bold and the Beautiful and then landed herself a role on Law and Order: SVU. She has also had a role on Californication, Entourage, and The Perfect Score. Jessica has also been seen on the television series Hawaii Five-O and Justified.
Bree Turner also has experience in music, as she has been a singer/songwriter and background dancer for many years. She has released several solo albums as well as records for numerous other artists. However, one of her more recent projects was a collaboration with her former husband, the musician, Mark Raney. The result was a duet album entitled, Bree and Mark Raney: Here to Stay.
Bree Turner’s good looks, her experience, and her ability to perform on both the big and small screens have made her one of the most popular and well sought out performers throughout the world. As the mid-2021 dates for the California State Teachers Cup begin, we will soon discover that female California Teachers will grace our state classrooms. Hopefully we will see many more female talents representing the great state of California in the years to come.
